Summary:

Ensure that interactions with all potential clients and existing customers are of a professional nature, while providing recommendations of the most appropriate products to clients and ensuring that the predetermined sales target is achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Areas:

• Ensure that the annual sales targets are achieved inclusive of the individual brand targets.
• To assist in the planning and execution of Trade Marketing plans for accounts
• Manage receivables effectively ensuring that accounts do not go over due and that all collections are achieved in a timely manner
• Ensure that all customers are efficiently stocked to result in “zero” out of stocks
• Ensure the approved marketing budget is used prudently for point of sale execution at outlets and ensure the ‘Execution at Point of Sale’ plan is adhered to.
• Conduct sales visits as per agreed scheduled with the Sales manager.
• Ensure that all products are approved and excellent shelf locations, the number of facings, point of purchase displays, signage and secondary locations never run out.
• Ensure to attend all sales meetings and actively participate and contribute ideas for achieving targets, executing promotions and maintaining a high level of motivation to achieve quarterly incentives and annual targets.
• To ensure complete weekly planners and daily sales reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner
• To report on competitive activities on the trade.
• Monitor staff issues of Customer service assistants and Field service assistance within your designated area.
• Ensure that all problems and/or costly errors encountered are reported to the appropriate manager.
• Ensure to attend all Sales Training both internal and external to improve skills.
• Ensure that all customer service issues are taken care of with the relevant department manager and/or Customer Service Representative.
• Participate in customer promotions when the need arises.
• Assist warehouse with emergency deliveries to assigned customers when the need arises.
• Prospecting for new customers to continuously add to current service route.
• Reviewing distribution reports to ensure all brands and SKUs are sold into all assigned stores.
• Working closely with sales manager and brand manager in the execution of branding and marketing activities within assigned stores.

Other:

• Actively participate in promotions, contests, meetings and training
• Sell and promote all approved products within your designated sales area
• Responsible for marketing the Company’s products.

Minimum Educational/Training Requirements:

• 5 CXC/ ‘O’ Level passes must include both Math and English
• 2 years work experience in a sales environment

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary, inclusive of allowances: $6,500.00
• Commission – 5% of GP sales on collection
• Quarterly and annual incentives based on achievement of sales targets
